Our boudoir photography sessions are held in Brisbane at our Flagstone studio (off the Mount Lindesay Highway). The studio is private, quiet and air-conditioned.
We capture a light and airy mood with the natural light and use a range of props (bed, chair, rug, mirror) to change the setting of the studio. We also have our 'Dark and Moody' studio to capture a different look, giving you more variety and gorgeous photos of yourself to see!
We have a client closet, which is continuously growing, which you are welcome to use. Items include lace robes, jackets, button shirts, body suits and lingerie sets. For hygiene reasons, any lingerie is to be worn over clothing such as g-strings.
We do still recommend that all clients bring their own outfits, that way you know you will be comfortable and confident in what you are wearing. We also recommend bringing some sexy clothing items that are not lingerie to start your session with. This will help you ease into the mood plus can still make for stunning photos.
Most clients will bring up to 3 outfits. Feel free to bring anything along and we can mix and match on the day.
Only if you want to. We do offer glamour nude photography (tasteful) as an outfit. We can pose to cover and hide body parts or expose, it is entirely up to you. Most clients like to see how they are feeling during the session.
Only if you wish them to. If that is the case, you can select which images you are happy to be shown. You always have the final say on whether your images are shared publicly.
It is completely understandable that you want your boudoir photo shoot to be as private as possible, and trust us, we want that too! Too many people in the room makes things too busy and distracting.
During your session, you will have both Mel (or Nicole) and Dave as photographers. They are both professional and experienced boudoir photographers who work seamlessly as a team. This gives you the best of both worlds too! The artistic perspective of 'what is sexy' from a male and female's point of view. Plus it's always a good laugh when Dave demonstrates some of the poses. You'll find that we are very down to earth people who are easy to get along with.

This is totally understandable. Everyone is nervous when they step into the studio. Trust us though, once the first few shots are taken, those nerves will be gone and you'll be having the time of your life! Plus Mel and Dave are super easy going people. It will be just like hanging out with a couple of friends, and when you get to see your images, it will be all worth it!
Yes, yes and heck yes! All of our boudoir sessions include full professional hair and makeup from either Teneal or Cindy (our experienced and qualified hair and makeup artists). Try not to think of this as just a photo shoot. This is a full pamper session with hair styling, makeup, lashes, bubbly and snacks. Sure you will have photos taken (and WOW they are going to be stunning!) but a boudoir session is so much more than that. We want you walking out on cloud nine, feeling sexy, beautiful and empowered. We want you wearing that confidence like a boss!
Don't worry about that, that's what we are here for! Think of us as your posing coach. We will explain each pose as you are about to do them. We will even demonstrate some poses which can be a bit of a laugh with Dave. Each pose will be suited for your body type as we will mold you like a manikin, looking at each intricate detail from your face to your toes to get the pose perfect! If you have any pose inspirations you would like to try, feel free to show us and we can incorporate them for your session. Apart from that, just turn up and be ready to have fun!
Yes! We sure do! Couples boudoir is less about highlighting you as an individual and more about reigniting your flame or celebrating your chemistry together.
Absolutely! There are many reasons to do a boudoir shoot. The most common is to do it for yourself so that you can build your own body confidence and experience an empowering adventure. Sometimes ladies like to gift their special partner with an album or a box of prints from their photo shoot. This can be for birthdays, anniversaries or as a wedding present. The great thing about this is that you get the empowering experience of a lifetime plus super stunning photos of yourself, and you can gift something special to your partner for that special occasion. It's a win win scenario!
