ABOUT US
Hi, We are Dave and Mel, and we are Brisbane boudoir photographers. We have been happily married since 2004 and photographers for since 2009, operating out of our Slacks Creek studio.
We both share a passion for creative photography and together, we work to create a fun and comfortable boudoir experience for you with gorgeous photos that will compliment you and your body. We both have different kinds of artistic flare that we bring into your session to create our style of boudoir.
During your session, you will have both of us as photographers. We believe this gives you the best of both worlds. The artistic perspective of 'what is sexy' from a male and female's point of view. Plus it's always a good laugh when Dave demonstrates some of the poses. You'll find that we are very down to earth people who are easy to get along with.
On a more personal level, we have 4 children who we adore and a couple of cheeky huskies. Our escape is to sit by the fire pit roasting marshmallows whether it is just the two of us or with family and friends. Dave also loves to get out on the basketball court or fire some arrows at an archery target and Mel has a new found love for pole fitness. Our happy place is definitely holidaying on the beach. With or without the kids is the question though.

MEET SHERIE
MAINTAINING THE SEAMLESS OPERATION - A MUCH NEEDED STUDIO MANAGER
Hey! I’m Sherie, the person you’re most likely to chat with if you have a query or are looking to book your own session! I love my role as Studio Manager here at Boudoir by Angel Eyes, partly because I enjoy chatting to people and helping them where I can, but also because I have a passion for organisation. I thrive on routine and work best when there is a place for everything and everything is in its place, which is absolutely necessary in this role! At home you would find things meticulously organised and everything labelled, nothing is safe from the dymo labeller!
I have an awesome little boy who is my permanent sidekick, so when I’m at home you’d find me playing whacky games, building Lego masterpieces or entertaining our two ginger kitties, plus Mum duties of course. I also have a very creative side, I’m an experienced cake decorator and nail technician, I love all things crafty and DIY and often have too many projects on the wish list! My favourite way to wind down is movie night and snuggles with my little one.

Hey! I'm Nicole! I assume various roles that I adore, within the Angel Eyes team!
ASSOCIATE PHOTOGRAPHER
Being able to make boudoir dreams come true with Angel Eyes is the perfect environment for me as it combines my perfectionism, creative flare and hype queen vibes!
Mel & Dave have bestowed a brilliant amount of knowledge on me in order to provide any Diva walking through our doors a fabulous boudoir experience and immortalised images of their beauty, to last a lifetime.
SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER
I'm the brains behind all the Social Media planning for Boudoir by Angel Eyes, plus I help run the Facebook groups, so you can have a fabulous time being immersed in boudoir and seeing what we do! I ensure that you always have something new to check out in the group, and that any of your questions get answered.
On a personal note...
In my free time I love being creative through dance and performance, and can usually be found in a dance studio somewhere (I even taught for a short while!) as well as watching paranormal and true crime doco's and catching up with friends and family.
Having always been drawn to spaces that promote body confidence and inclusivity, I firmly believe that your uniqueness is your magic. There’s no one like you!
