Our advice is to take a deep breath. Remember why you are doing this, know that we will help and guide you 100% of the way, and finally believe in yourself girl! you've got this!

FAQ's
All you need to know to get your dream session started!
Where will the session take place?
Our boudoir photography sessions are held in Brisbane at our Slacks Creek studio (2 minutes from IKEA). The studio is private, quiet and air-conditioned. Plus it has many different sets for you to use.
Do you supply outfits for the session?
We have a client closet, which is continuously growing, which you are welcome to use. Items include lace robes, jackets, button shirts, body suits, lingerie sets and heels. For hygiene reasons, any lingerie is to be worn over clothing such as g-strings.
Do I have to go nude?
Only if you want to. We do offer glamour nude photography (tasteful) as an outfit. We can pose to cover and hide body parts or expose, it is entirely up to you. Most clients like to see how they are feeling during the session.
Will my photos end up on the website or Facebook?
Only if you wish them to. If that is the case, you can select which images you are happy to be shown. You always have the final say on whether your images are shared publicly.
I want to book a shoot but I am so nervous?
This is totally understandable. Everyone is nervous when they step into the studio. Trust me though, once the first few shots are taken, those nerves will be gone and you'll be having the time of your life!
Is hair and makeup included?
Yes yes and heck yes! All of our boudoir sessions include full professional hair and makeup from either Teneal, Cody or Loren (Our experienced and qualified hair and makeup artists). Try not to think of this as just a photo shoot. This is a full pamper session with hair styling, makeup, lashes, bubbly and snacks. Sure you will have photos taken (and WOW they are going to be stunning!) but a boudoir session is so much more than that. We want you walking out on cloud nine, feeling sexy, beautiful and empowered. We want you wearing that confidence like a boss!
But I can't pose for the life of me?
Don't worry about that, that's what we are here for! Think of us as your posing coach. We will explain each pose as you are about to do them. We will even demonstrate some poses which can be a bit of a laugh with Dave. Each pose will be suited for your body type as we will mold you like a manikin, looking at each intricate detail from your face to your toes to get the pose perfect! If you have any pose inspirations you would like to try, feel free to show us and we can incorporate them for your session. Apart from that, just turn up and be ready to have fun!
Do you do couples boudoir photography?
Yes! We sure do! Couples boudoir is less about highlighting you as an individual and more about reigniting your flame or celebrating your chemistry together.

Hi! We are Mel and Dave. A husband and wife boudoir team like no other. We combine our individual artistic talents to give you the best from a male and female perspective. We work together 100% of the time as we coach you into stunning poses that highlight your beautiful features and produce images that will have you in awe of yourself. You'll be at ease while working with us, as we like to keep the mood light and love to have a laugh a lot. Especially when Dave demonstrates feminine poses.
